Small Business Appreciation – Clara’s Folding Book Art

Yippee ! It’s Clara & Paul’s wedding day today and as you are reading this I am already photographing the bridal prep! I have got to know Clara and Paul really well in the lead up to their wedding and I am just so excited for this day. Keep you eyes peeled for a few sneak peeks of their wedding day later tonight!

This is the third instalment in small business appreciation, I really like doing this because it shows talent of people who may not be seen by a large audience, and it’s a pat on the back for those who work so hard running their own business.

I had seen a few book folds and thought they looked nice and wasn’t too bothered. Then Clara invited me to like her Facebook Page and I saw some of her designs – they are amazing! I wouldn’t be surprised if she could book fold almost anything that you ask her to. Here are some examples:

It all started when I got a hedgehog for my mum, she absolutely adores them and I thought that these book fold ones were so cute! You can use them to file letters and bits of paper too which makes them so useful as well as looking great.

Then, as a gift for photographing the wedding, children and generally helping out, Clara gave me a minnie mouse book fold! It coudn’t be more perfect, the fold is beautiful and the decoration really sets the whole thing off. It’s beautiful! It’s sitting on my piano as I type. I took some photo’s of it with my light box:

Then, for Mother’s day, I bought my mum some lovely daffodils. Daffodils are her favourite and every Spring we buy them for her pretty much once a week! I thought I would get her some flowers that wouldn’t wilt or die and that will last forever! Clara took on the challenge and they look absolutely beautiful. I love the way she wrapped them to make them look even more realistic, and added a little butterfly too.

Finally I would like to say that Clara’s work is second to none. It is beautiful and unique, and looks even more beautiful in real life than in pictures. Her care and attention to each piece is obvious, and even more so in the wrapping and displaying of them. Any one of her items would make a lovely gift for someone special and I would highly recommend her. Beyond all that, she really is a lovely lady, so easy to chat too and one of the nicest people I have ever met. So go and check out Clara’s Folding Book Art, trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
